Quality Assurance Standards

In order to assure that all projects that come in our office are completed with the highest level of professionalism and accuracy, we utilize several methods of quality control.  All team members of any given project are involved directly from the very beginning stages through completion.  This ensures continuity throughout a project, which is highly beneficial to both us and the client.  Also, at multiple stages of design, we perform in-house peer reviews of all our work and that of our consultants.  To be sure we continue to provide service in keeping with the industry’s best practices the majority of our staff are active members in the American Institute of Architects, which requires more continuing education credits than what is required by the State of Illinois.  Our staff is also encouraged to participate in other relevant groups and associations such as the Association of Licensed Architects, International Code Council, United States Green Building Council, and associations for building officials.

Environmentally Responsible Design

To meet the ever-growing need for responsible environmental design our team relies on using our software, education, and product knowledge to make our projects as efficient as our client prefers.  We currently use the United States Department of Energy’s software to meet and/or exceed the code required energy standards set forth by the International Energy Conservation Code.  Utilizing our staff and consultants that are LEED Accredited Professionals allows us to work with our clients in selecting efficient fixtures and materials that contain pre-consumer & post-consumer recycled content and/or rapidly renewable materials, as well as trying to re-use salvaged materials in remodeling projects in lieu of replacing them.
